Joe Valerio - Managing Partner

After graduating from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2005, Joe began his career as a landman at a major independent E&P company located in Oklahoma City. He later transferred to an in-house attorney group within that same company where he rendered oil and gas drilling title opinions, division order title opinions, surface title opinions, and assisted corporate counsel with various substantive oil and gas and land use/regulation issues. In 2013, Joe left the corporate world and began his private legal practice as a founding partner of Avery, Kurtz & Valerio, where he performed many of the same services related to the oil and gas industry for the next 7-years. Today, Joe is a managing partner at C&V, overseeing the firm’s land titles practice for lands situated in Oklahoma and in Pennsylvania.
